This Privacy Policy explains how Honey Vectors (“Honey Vectors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit or use our website and site interface at https://honeyvectors.com/ (the “Website”), interact with our AI site assistant, communicate with us through Slack, request or receive our services, or otherwise engage with us (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we process in connection with:

  • the Honey Vectors Website and its site interface, including forms, audit requests, and account or checkout pages;
  • the Honey Vectors AI site assistant and other interactive or AI-enabled features;
  • support, onboarding, and collaboration conducted through Slack; and
  • our provision of Services, including audits, SEO/AEO/GEO work, analytics, and the Pilot Program.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties we do not own or control, including Slack and other Third-Party Services, each of which has its own privacy policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly, such as:

  • identity and contact details (name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing or business address);
  • account and onboarding information, and the contents of forms such as audit requests or consultation requests;
  • information you submit when you request, purchase, or receive Services, including a Service Order or the Pilot Program;
  • communications you send us, including emails, messages, and support requests;
  • website URLs, credentials, and access you authorize us to use to perform the Services; and
  • payment-related information, which is collected and processed by our third-party payment processors (we do not store full payment-card numbers).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically Through the Website

When you use the Website, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect:

  • device and browser information (such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers);
  • usage information (such as pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and time spent);
  • approximate location derived from IP address; and
  • information collected through cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 4.

2.3 Information From the AI Site Assistant

When you interact with our AI site assistant or other AI-enabled features, we may collect the questions, prompts, messages, and other content you enter, along with related usage information. This content may be processed by us and by our third-party AI providers to generate responses and improve the Services. You should not enter sensitive personal information into the AI site assistant (see Section 7).

2.4 Information Collected Through Slack

When you communicate with us through Slack, including in a dedicated support or project channel, we may collect the messages, files, links, and other content you share, along with identifiers such as your name, email address, and Slack workspace or channel membership. Slack is a Third-Party Service with its own privacy practices, and your use of Slack is also subject to Slack’s terms and privacy policy. See Section 6 for more detail.

2.5 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from analytics providers, advertising or referral sources, our service providers, and publicly available sources, and we may combine that information with information we collect directly.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Website and Services;
  • respond to audit requests, inquiries, and support requests, including through Slack;
  • set up and deliver the Services, including the Pilot Program and any done-for-you install;
  • operate and improve the AI site assistant and other AI-enabled features;
  • process payments and manage billing;
  • communicate with you about the Services, including service, transactional, and, where permitted, marketing communications;
  • analyze and understand how the Website and Services are used;
  • protect the security and integrity of the Website and Services, and detect and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service; and
  • create de-identified or aggregated information that does not identify you, which we may use for any lawful business purpose.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies on the Website to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and understand usage. These include:

  • Essential cookies, which are necessary for the Website to function;
  • Analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors use the Website. We use analytics tools such as [e.g., Google Analytics — confirm exact tools]; and
  • Preference cookies, which remember choices you make.

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, and you may be able to opt out of certain analytics collection through tools provided by the analytics provider (for example, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on). Some features of the Website may not function properly if you disable certain cookies.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information as follows:

  • Service providers and subprocessors: companies that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, website platforms, analytics providers, communication and collaboration tools (including Slack), AI providers (which may include companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Perplexity), payment processors, and project-management tools;
  • At your direction: where you ask us to share information or grant access to a third party;
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Honey Vectors, our clients, or others;
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets; and
  • With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information.

6. Slack and Third-Party Platforms

We use Slack to provide support and to collaborate with clients, including a dedicated Slack channel during the Pilot Program. When you communicate with us in Slack:

  • the content you share (messages, files, and links) and related identifiers are processed within Slack and by us;
  • Slack acts as a Third-Party Service and processes information under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control;
  • you should not share sensitive personal information through Slack, consistent with the “Sensitive Information” provisions of our Terms of Service; and
  • if you invite your own team members or others into a shared channel, you are responsible for their use and for any information they share.

Your use of the Website and Services may also involve other Third-Party Services (such as search engines, hosting providers, and analytics platforms). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing

We use AI Tools, including the AI site assistant, to operate and improve the Services. Content you submit to AI-enabled features may be processed by us and by our third-party AI providers. AI systems can produce inaccurate or incomplete results, and outputs should be independently reviewed. Do not submit sensitive personal information (such as health information, government identifiers, financial-account credentials, or full payment-card numbers) to the AI site assistant or other AI-enabled features. We do not use AI-enabled features to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without human involvement.

For data associated with the Pilot Program, at the end of the Pilot Term we return data to the Client as Markdown, and any continued use, access, storage, or deletion of that data is governed by the parties’ written agreement and applicable terms, consistent with our Terms of Service.
